Well Completion Integrated with Fracture Stimulation Optimization

The well completion approach dictates the effectiveness of the hydraulic fracture stimulation treatment. Since our inception, IPT's engineers have studied the inter-dependency of different perforating, breakdown, staging, open versus cemented well and hydraulic fracture stimulation approaches. We specialize in well completion strategies that maximize vertical and lateral communication of the pay zone to the wellbore via the wellbore design, perforating strategy and hydraulic fracture stimulation. The linkage of the well completion approach with the stimulation design and reservoir producing characteristics is what makes the difference between a typical well and the best wells in a field.

Appropriate field implementation can trump the best engineering done in the office. IPT has studied the impact of different approaches with many of these horizontal and vertical well applications.  Because of our usage of Fracpro and detailed on-site stimulation service reports, we have a unique capability not common within the petroleum industry.  IPT's on-site stimulation specialists are trained to prepare in advance for the uniqueness of a specific well application and make recommendations based on these important aspects to minimize operational problems and maximize the well response.

IPT is experienced with integrating the well completion design, hydraulic fracture stimulation and reservoir producing mechanism in most multistage completion approaches, coil tubing fracturing, shallow low-temperature and deep high-temperature applications. We are successful in most reservoirs in North America and can give you an immediate advantage to optimize your well response.
