Horizontal Well Applications

IPT has extensive experience in cemented and open hole horizontal well applications with many different completion methods, formation types and hydraulic fracture stimulation approaches. Each stage of a horizontal well application has different idiosyncrasies. IPT has studied the effectiveness of many of these approaches and can help evaluate the different options available to minimize operational complexity, prepare the well completion procedure, optimize the fracture treatment design and maximize the production response of a well.

IPT's overall approach is derived from integrated studies that couple the well completion engineering and hydraulic fracture stimulation expertise with the petroleum reservoir engineering. Credible reservoir engineering and practical experience determine what procedures work best to optimize the well response.

We have developed fracture diagnostic interpretation methods and approaches for horizontal wells that have been very successful.
