Well Production Analysis

For vertical and horizontal wells, IPT's well production analysis service integrates finite difference reservoir simulation with analytical production analysis approaches to derive an integrated interpretation of a reservoir response. We focus on reservoir simulation as a primary approach because solutions derived from analytical evaluation software can be in serious error, especially when discerning fracture stimulation quality.

The product we provide the client is unique because we have the expertise to link the well completion and hydraulic fracture stimulation response to the production analysis to give specific recommendations based on years of experience.

IPT has wellbore models that have been calibrated to thousands of wells and formations. This is an important part of any production analysis interpretation. The wellbore models also enhance our nodal analysis procedures and capabilities.

We have performed thousands of reservoir simulation evaluations in vertical wells with either single intervals or long 1,000'+ multistaged completions as well as in numerous horizontal wells with a myriad of completion approaches. We do not cut corners with our production analysis engineering tools or techniques and believe we lead the industry in this discipline.
