Well Test Analysis Consultants

IPT's pressure buildup and draw down well test analysis consultants have expertise in vertical and horizontal oil and gas wells. We use gridded finite difference reservoir simulation as a primary tool to maximize the uniqueness of the solution in our petroleum reservoir engineering approaches. The historical well production, flowing and shut-in pressure response is history matched in the finite difference reservoir simulator and coupled with, Saphir, an analytical pressure transient analysis software tool.  This approach is specifically focused towards minimizing uniqueness problems and understanding the dominant producing mechanisms of the reservoir.  Without this important linkage, it is not possible to optimize the well completion and hydraulic fracture stimulation effectiveness.

Our ability to couple the well completion and hydraulic fracture stimulation know-how with the well test analysis interpretation improves the quality of reservoir optimization conclusions and recommendations to the client. We have expertise at identifying upside potential because we constantly apply and study the effectiveness of numerous completion and stimulation approaches.
